I'm home with a cold today and i live in the Silver lake section on the north shore of SI, and i saw the cloud out my windows and asked my wife if she thought it was just a dark cloud or smoke. I said that it was in the direction of the refineries, and we turned on the news and lo and behold things are on fire.

Most likely its an accident, but it is one of the largest refineries in the US.
