Im a big Sims and Maxis fan. Im about to get The Sims for PS2. Is it worth it?

My friend has it and it's a piece of shit. Really, really boring. I'd suggest you rent it first.

Well I rented it aobut 2 weeks ago and didn't like it at all.
The PC games are much better, there's no competition. The new objective based gameplay sucks and falls flat on it's face. There is an option to play like the normal Sims games for PC but the main point of this game is that there is an actual goal... defeats the whole purpose of the Sims.
If you have a good enough PC then get one of them. In the PS2 game your guy never stops bitching. He bitches when he's hungry, when he needs to shit, when he smells, when he's depressed. Worth a rental AT THE MOST.
