What is a Best Boy or a Key Grip?

I always see this titles at the end of movies in the credits, and am curious...what do they do?

Gaffers are the electrical and
lighting guys on the set; the
BEST BOY is their "gofer".
Grips are the guys that set
up, tear down, and transport
all the equipment, the
"grunts", if you will. The KEY
GRIP is the head of this crew.

A "Best boy/girl" is chief assistant to someone called a "gaffer." A "gaffer" is chief electrician or lighting technician.

A "Grip" is basically a schlepper who moves stuff around the set and sets it up. The head of the grip crew is called a "Key Grip." (Or head schlepper.)
