I had a whole thing typed up before and I lost it. Damnit!
Anyway, I wanted to try and get a metal discussion going here kind of like a bunch of buds sitting around drinking beer and passing the bowl around and just having the never ending conversation on what is good, what sucks and what it means to us. Maybe even shows of interest that are coming up too. Favorite records and why they are such and so on and so forth. I really blew my wad here before and am DRAINED but it will come back soon.
What I had initially wanted to bring to the collective "table" was the whole thing with the forthcoming Metallica record. I am foolishly excited because I distinctly remember crying after I heard LOAD. What WAS that? I remember hearing Ride The Lightning for the first time and being blown away. What ahppened? I have false hope here because of the Garage Inc' tribute CD and hopw they absolutely shredded on the Mercyful Fate medley. I SO hope for that again as I have heard the record (titled St. Anger) kind of goes back. I will believe it when I hear it. One can hope though, one can hope.
Hopefully this can get off the ground here. I look forward to it.

Metallica may or may not have sold out, but they CHANGED. And that change left all us old school fans out in the cold. I can't say I'll waste money on they're CD.
I'm looking forward to the Suffocation reunion tour!

I do recall hearing the newest Suffocation song on the Contaminated comp and it was good. Just have to pick up the disc. I smeel a trip to Vintage Vinyl this weekend. Moe, you will have to keep me abreast on when they are coming around. Wouldn't you sit if Unhallowed opened for Suffocation? You guys opened for Vader, right?

I am foolishly excited because I distinctly remember crying after I heard LOAD.
The day "Load" came out my friends and I bought the CD, a party ball (remember those) and an 1/8 of weed. We got through half the tracks when I ejected it from the player and turned it picture side down on the patio table where we sat. We used it as an ashtray the rest of the evening. "Seasons in the Abyss" made up for lost time thereafter. True story.

Yea Fluff. Unhallowed opened for Vader and Immolation at Krome. We've also opened for Deicide at a club in Sussex county once too. Good exposure even if the club is BULLSHIT!
How about his new trend of Porno/Gore bands ripping Lividity's gimmick right off along with trying to steal their music? GAY GAY GAY!

Lemme guess, log-out huh? I hat that too.
Anyone remember Exhorder and think that maybe they had a little bit TOO much of an influence on Pantera? The contrast between the first two Pantera albums and Cowboys tells me something had an influence. I am not trashing Pantera just questioning? I question EVERYTHING!
