Bugs Bunny when he's at the mad scienists castle with the big red monster (People?! AHHHHHHH!!!).
Tom and Jerry when they freeze the kitchen floor into an ice skating rink.
And the one cartoon where the dog has a magic wand and he's conducting an orchestra. Not sure the name of it. Maybe a Tom & Jerry spin off.
And of course All Star Blazers.

Those were awesome! At least I thought they were. When this new cheesy punk he-man came out though, I was disgusted with him and went to some oooold taped videos of the original He-Man and realized... that was one seriously gay show! I mean, Prince Adam wore a pink fur jacket and pink velvet pants! Then ran around in a hairy loin cloth as he-man, which of course, noone realized was him despite his lack of a mask or anything to hide his face. But I dug it at the time.

Two Stupid Dogs is not an old cartoon. If that's the case, then the Spongebob Squarepants episode I saw twenty minutes ago can qualify as nostalgic.
I liked all of the old Hanna Barbera cartoons like Birdman and the Galaxy Trio or Space Ghost.

and anyway, the show went off in 1994. while i realize that doesnt quite qualify for "old school" status, it is certainly not the same as a show that is still on the air.

Cartoon Network just yesterdayi'm giving up the two stupid dogs crusade right after this post...
just because they show repeats of something on cable does not preclude it's being "old school" (which i still don't really think this is). i seem to remember watching a honeymooner's marathon not too long ago..
you probably didnt even mean it this way, and i would have really appreciated your post if i had cable...

There was a show when I was a kid and I have never been able to remember the name nor does anyone I explain it to knows what Im taking about. Maybe somebody here can finally tell me the name. It was about 15 years ago. There were 3 characters a Barbarian his hot chick and some sorta Beast looking thing, kinda like chewbacca. The basic plot was the world had ended and all that was left was a few humans and these muntant looking things. Basically these 3 went around fighting evil villians. anybody know the name??

Lordy, you folks are bringing back memories.
I have to agree, best Tom & Jerry is with Jerry's Gee-tar playing uncle.
I was a budding otaku when I was little. My favorites were Battle of the Planets, Transformers, Starblazers, Robotech, Tranzor Z, and Thunderbirds: 2086. I also used to rush home from school to watch what I now beleive was my first guilty pleasure, Jason & The Wheeled Warriors. Yet another short lived thirty minute toy advertisement, but I had to watch it.
I vaguely remember a Japanese import about Texas Rangers in space that was not Lonestar (of "Stength of the Bear!" fame.) It might have been called Galaxy Rangers. Anyone have a clue?
