Final Fantasy...Origins

Squaresoft is releasing Final Fantasty 1 & 2 on Playstation 1 this spring. It will have enhanced graphics and new soundtrack. I played both and will buy this " old school" game. Anyone else interested?

nice, but how did you play 2, rom? it wasn't released state side. ff2 american is actually ff4 japan.

Final Fantasy 2 was on Super Ninendo. I played it, beat it and traded it in. FF1 was on the original Nintendo.
I also think FF4 is on a Playstation 1 disc with Chronotrigger.

yarp, the FF2 you played on super NES was actually FF4, this re-release is the first time that FF2 will be stateside. i will bepicking it up and can't wait to play it!

a good remake from square might be secret of mana 1 and the the second part never released in the us. that would make a good sale. a couple of 3 player games.
