daredevil is one of marvel's best character's actually. Have you ever any of the comics? absolutely fantastic. btw: his powers are that his senses are heightened to unfathomable levels ie: he can read a newspaper by feeling the ink on it. The accident also gave him a "radar sense" which is his true power. He can "see" better than we can, and in all directions, and in all light.

Tony Stark is a genius though he's kinda stiff outside his suit. Batman is pretty tough even without his toys, but neither he nor Batman is physically challenged. The Wonder Twins could bitch him up...

Um, i really dont know alot about comics but Daredevil was in an accident when he was a kid causing him to lose his vision but at the same time the effects were superhuman instincts and enhancement of his senses(besides sight) am i close to right???

Daredevil is my favorite superhero. Go read the new series -- a lot of it is available in trade paper back. Kevin Smith's story is really good, but the Mack/Bendis story which introduces Echo rules. Mack's Kabuki is great and when he brought his painting style to DD I was in heaven. Everything since has been pretty good, but I hope the editor realizes soon that even though Bendis is consistent keeping him on too long will make the book stale.

I think it's easiest to relate to DD precisely because his superpowers are so low key. DD also has had a great supporting cast for a long time with Foggy, Ulrich, Kingpin, Karen, Elektra, Spidey, and others.

DareDevil kicks ass. that movie is gonna suck so much though. and DD has some shitty stories, but good artists. the whole Frank Miller-era and JRjr/Miller-era was pretty damn good. and Spidey is one of the best characters in the Marvel universe. My personal favorite. shitty movie though. <P>

Spiderman wasn't born with his powers. He was bitten by a radioactive spider in the comic- which I thought would make him a mutant, but even the comic promotes him as a non-mutant superhero.
