we've got one for the Marvel boys so i only thought it fair to give one to the competition now this includes all imprints under DC (i.e. Vertigo and Wildstorm)

mine would be Alex Elder from the shortlived Wildstorm series CRIMSON, its the story of a sixteen year old boy that is turned into a vampire and prophecised to be the last of his kind. pretty good stuff and the art is done by Humberto Ramos (peter parker:spiderman) who is one of my most favorite artists all 24 issues come in trades and you all should pick it up if your interested.

so what are your thoughts? who in DC deserves more respect?

viddy what todd did!

My pick is the Creeper.

The guy was INSANE. Literally. But on top of that, he was strong, quick, agile, and pretty goddamn hard to kill.

I've always thought that under the right creative direction, the Creeper could have been something spectacular. Especially if they took him in a more dark, Vertigo-esque direction.

And this wasn't really a "character", more just a criminally ignored mini-series...

Grant Morrison is one of my favorite writers of all time, but "The Invisibles" was one of the most acclaimed series of the 90's and one of Vertigo's bestselling of all time, so it's nowhere near being underrated...

Disinformation Press is putting out a 300+ page guide to The Invisibles in March. Should be a good read...

The movie with Shaq definitely sucked, but I always liked Steel.

Furie, NICE. It's still a crime that DC has only put ONE trade paperback collection for that series...

Alan Moore's Swamp Thing was always my favorite DC character.

But I sort of gave up comics about 10 years ago when the price became a little ridiculous, no?. So I may have missed some good stuff.

*shrug*
