"Resolve"- played out word of the year!

Admittedly, I thought the word "resolve" was already overused,but now i'm just flat out sick of the damn thing!
theres isnt a press conference, public address,etc. that doesnt say it at least once!(sometimes several times)
arghhhhhhh!!!
am i the only one catching on to that?
geez, it's mindboggling how a simple word can drive me nuts.

I think "the" is the most played out word of the year. i'm always hearing "the" everywhere I go.
