When I was a kid I had a pair of these sneaker with the pocket and zipper called KangaROOS. I remember they became very popular and were kind've cool because the pocket was handy for keeping money and stuff in it when you were in school. Whatever happened to them?

Geez. I remember in 1989 there used to be a commercial with WCW wrestlers for Roos. Sting, The Stiener Bros., and the Road Warriors were in it. "Roos. Shoes for your feet. Pockets for your stuff!"

Had a pair of those, my first pair of sneakers without laces. Velcro! the future was on my feet!
The pocket was good for your stash and cash, could have been bigger though.

Oh I had those when I was younger. I wish I still did because I have shorts with no pockets and that little zipper on the sneaker would be great for cash and a house key.
