looks like there is a new bass player...

I saw the opening of thier HBO Special...

They need to give it a permanent rest, or stick to small clubs and acoustics...

It's like the Champion Prize Fighter who doesn't know when to retire or get out while the getting is good...

What is your question?

Mick is trying to dance, Ronnie is playing the guitar, and the new bass player is playing the bass. Anything else would you like to know.

Keith is probably off shot smoking a cigarette and drinking a beer.

Thank you Ron and Fez for finally being live in DC again.
Philly is the next market for the boys. Wake up WYSP...

The bass player has been with him since Bill Wyman quit a few years ago. In fact it may have been about 10 years ago.

Thank you Ron and Fez for finally being live in DC again.

Hey, the Stones have spent 40 years desperately trying to SOUND black, I say it's about time they actually got a black guy into the group...

Dammit Hippie, respect the dead. Next you'll be making jabs at Mr. Hooper...

It looks like Clarence Clemmons' younger and thinner brother

I'm so broke I can't afford to pay attention.

To clarify, it is the original Gordon who passed away. Not the bald one we have all come to know and love. You scared me for a second.

spent the msg show weekend 1/16 - 1/18 at a stones convention. (yeah i know, i'm old. as if the recent turn of r & f events aren't depressing enough) i've been to many fan gatherings and you haven't missed anything in the 20 last years. i'm impressed by you noticing the "new band member"
as tears go by for my buddies,

The bass player is Darryl Jones. He joined the Stones in 1994 after Wyman left. He played on "Voodoo Lounge" and "Bridges To Babylon" and has been on every tour since.

Jones was a session man who played with everyone from Miles Davis to Sting to Eric Clapton to Madonna.

He's never been made a Rolling Stone officially, but then again it took Ron Wood about 15 years before he was.

Missing from the picture is one of the backup singers: the great Blondie Chaplin. He was briefly a Beach Boy and sang lead on one of their greatest and underrated songs, "Sail On Sailor."
