When you were a kid did you prefer Matchbox or Hot Wheels cars? or both?
I always seemed to like Matchbox more because they were more metal and had better details.

matchbox all the way. hot wheels just seemed like a cheap ripped off.. like the go-bots ripped off transformers.

i liked both. it was the individual car that made the difference. if it looked cool i liked it, if not i usually gave it to my brother.
they seemed popular, but i didn't like the one's that when you crashed them the door would get the dent.

Matchbox was the best. My favoite was a black 57 Chevy that had real rubber tires.

Matchbox, Hot Wheels were too fragile. I still have my Matchbox General Lee.
Don't be fooled by the Rocks that I got, I'm still Jimmy from the block.

I have the Matchbox general lee also. Matchbox cars were so sick I had so many and I'd have to say that I'v never been so into cars.

i think i liked matchbox better cause they put what type of car it was on the bottom. i probably have an equal amount of both though. i still have like 500 of them in this big box in my closet.

I did have a HotWheels slot-cat race track which was pretty cool. The cars were plastic, but they raced their asses off.

hotwheels. the matchbox cars had wheels that would always twist a little that would cause the car to go crooked all the time.
