Who's family has that HUGE Family Bible?

I feel left out of this one because my family doesn't have the HUGE Family Tree bible thing with a pressed flower and a million Funeral cards in it.

Is it a Catholic thing more than Protestant? Maybe that's why we never had it.

I think that these things are cool. A real door to the past. Old Newspaper clippings, notes, letters, cards, picture. And a story behind every one of the contents of it.

My family has one, and we're Protestant. Well, really, it's my Mom's. My dad never really was that religious.

But my mom has one, and it's....hmm, at least 40 years old. It's pretty cool, but it's falling apart from age.

I have a Spanish Bible too. That's pretty cool. You haven't worshipped until you've done it in espanol!

I know you're not going to believe this, but my dad is the Co-Pastor of a Pentecostal church, treasurer, Pastor's counselor, preacher, teacher and does most/a lot of the construction in the church.

I used to be a very faithful follower. Was the Secretary of Sunday School, V.P. of the Youth, Sunday School teacher for ages 4-6, and in the choir...

Oh yeah.. not only does my family have a huge Bible, but they have books to help understand verses of the Bible, Biblical dictionaries, Biblical encyclopedias, and versions in spanish and english.

i come from a catholic family but my parents arent the old time type of catholics so we never had a giant bible. all of us got our own bibles. everyone else in my family however has the big giant ibles.
