When I was a kid, I had this robot/8-track player toy that would ask you trivia questions and play games with you. As hokey as it was...it was actualy kind've cool and funny. Does anyone remember this?

It does look familiar, but by the time I was old enough to play with a toy like that I think cassettes were invented.

they were for me as well, i think this thing was the last of the hold-outs for the 8-track medium.
