Whats the real difference between them?
Does scotch really have to come from Scotland like chanpagne needs to come from that cave in France?

It has to do with the actual process by which they're made.

I love bourbon whiskey and scotch, they're all my favorites, but Scotch is my favorite favorite, but if they don't have scotch it's like. . . .no big deal, cause Whiskey's my favorite too.

Are some made with wheat and some corn or rye? I thought that was the difference...?

Bourbon must be from in Bourbon County, Kentucky, much like Champagne must be from the Champagne region of France.

Irish Whiskey is some of the best stuff on earth, especially Bushmills.

Gots to go with the scotch, Old Bushmills does me just fine, thank you. For bourbon, I like the Wild Turkey. What's that old quote, something along the lines of: "Whiskey is for soldiers, bourbon is for gentlemen, and scotch is for heroes"???

"Boiled, baked or fried, aliens taste good!"
