Punk-pop pioneers the Buzzcocks will release their next studio record on March 18th on Merge Records. "The Buzzcocks" will be the only text printed on the front cover, but that shouldn't be confused with the album's title. "It isn't self-titled," says guitarist/vocalist Pete Shelley. "People think that because it doesn't have a title, the title must be 'Buzzcocks.' But it's not. It doesn't have a title -- it's not eponymous."

i find this scary. i'm very skeptical of these old punk bands putting out new stuff. the buzzcocks rocked. rocked. i am very concerned indeed.

joe strummer might have been the only old punk guy doing anything remotely worth listening to, and now he's gone.

why does everyone have to slander the whole punk genre?....if you cant even look foward to an album coming out(whether or not its going to suck) i think you have bigger problems on your hands.Just crank up some Casualties or Guerilla Biscuits and move on people
