New Order's Retro Box Set

Did anyone buy this set yet? Does it miss out on alot of essential songs? I bought Joy Division's Heart and Soul Box and that was perfect.

I bought it, because I'm weak and can't help myself.

Like "Substance" and the other "best of" that came out a few years back, you'll go nuts over what was left off, what versions were included, and the order of the track listing. But like "Substance", you'll hate yourself even more if you don't get it because it's so damn good. The remixes are pretty so-so, but the live disc is absolutely stellar. And they have this cool demo version of "Temptation" that sounds like it's sung by the just post-Joy Division New Order instead of the later, poppier New Order.

It's worth it.

All I have is Brotherhood, Republic and Substance on cd. Is Retro like Heart and Soul where once you have the set you don't really need the other cds?

Combine the CD's you have with the box set and you'll pretty much be set.
