I just feel betrayed. Apparently the kangaroo does NOT talk, as the previews implied. Jack, you just lost a paying customer! GO BOO ON YOURSELF.

But he raps and sings and dances, but it's all just a dream sequence. Why promo a movie on the basis of a talking kangaroo, when it's only in 5minutes of the movie. That's neither here nor there, the real problem is that it's #1. Who are all the mutants that are hopping mad to see this

That's called the "bait and switch". It happens all the time. My brother in law just told me that Dracula 2000 wasn't a techno-slasher film like the comercials made it seem, but had a lot to do with religion. It's like when Halle Berry was promoting Swordfish, all they ever spoke to her about was the topless scene because they knew that people would sit through 90 minutes of crap to see 25 seconds of her bare breast.

It's also illegal if you're selling appliances. . . hence the reason Crazy Eddie's is no longer in business.

Why can't it be illegal if you're selling a movie?

When I first saw the promo, I thought it was a joke. Then it hit theatres. . . ouch. This, people, is what a threat of a writers' strike gets us.

I saw Drac2k on cable. It was actually a good little flick that had a really interesting religious mythology (Dracula was Judas), and some entertaining updates to Bram Stokers tale.

And if you pay to see Kangaroo Jack, the terrorists win.
