I reserved tonight--Saturday fucking night--to finally write, type, then print out 3 essays that I've been procrastinating about. I even turned down a date to get this done! (and if u know me, i should never turn down a date-theyre so few and far between). Anyway...Earlier today, I wrote 2 pretty good essays, just couldnt come up with the 3rd one. I then took a break. Then, I sit down at my computer and type the 1st essay. Done. But now the printer acts up--re-alligning my paragraphs and text. What the f? I spend 1/2 an hour trying to figure that out, to no avail. So I haul out the old typewriter. every thing was going great--no typos, etc, I get a page and a half done..guess what happens? I'm at the end of an ink cartridge!!! I hope office depot (or max) is open tomorrow. Well anyway..now all there is to do is think up the 3rd essay, which i cant do cause I'm frustrated about everything else!!! Guess I picked the wrong month to give up drinking. So i thought I'd say hi to you guys. Hi.

how is the printer re-aligning your paragraphs?
it's not possible that it's the printer. it's the software. what program are you using? (word, word perfect...)

Kin-Kos.

Ok, maybe its just one word, but if you save your essay on a floppy and take it to kinkos, they will print it out for you for like 12 cents a page.

Beats the hell out of having to rough-up the printer if you ask me...

You still use a typewriter? Have we gone through a time portal?i still have a typewriter, as well. there are certain (limited) things that you cannot do with a printer, and for those, the typewriter comes in very handy. and mine's cool - it has a correcty thing on it, so you dont have to worry about typos..

When I fix my printer, I'm gonna print that out, and use it like a coupon...someday. You'll all be happy to know that I typed out 2 essays tonight, and tomorrow, I'll write and type the 3rd. My neighbor's typewriter didnt have any correcter, or white out thingy deal..so I occasionally had to re-type an entire page! But its done! As for the prinet, it only f's up when I'm trying to print from wordpad. It looks right on th escreen, ,but when it comes out on the printer, its all fucked up. I dunno. My fingers hurt.

I do all of my "real" writing on an old 1940's typewriter that I salavged from my grandfather's garage and restored by hand. I don't know, it just feels much more satisfying to bang something out on that as opposed to a computer...
