The whole purpose of Z100 style radio is to leave you with no opinion of your own and to eventually drain you of any thoughts of your own. Of course it will get irritating! I bet that song is played 20 times a day! And what is Puddle Of Mudd anyway? If that is whatthe radio is bringing across as a great band then they are sorely mistaken.

it seems to me that your first mistake was listening the z100. the second mistake, of course, was expecting them to actually play anything remotely listenable or original. the radio is basically crap (apart from rf of course). you can find some good things if you know where to look, but i'll give you your first lesson - z100 is not it

I think I remember O&A saying something about radio stations and play lists.

How they have a list of songs that they are allowed to play. When you would call in and say..can I hear "she f*kn hates me? They record it and play it later so it's like...Wow...automatic request. But you call in asking for some obscure song and they say no or we'll play that later and they never do.
