From what I remember....Gambit met up with Storm after she was reverted back to a kid. He followed her back to the X-men and he just stayed. That was around the X-tinction Agenda.

Didnt he show up aroun d the time of Bishop too? I have the comic where Gambit is on the cover with a very young Storm. I think the cover has the words, "Enter Gambit."

Yeah, Storm came out of it as a child and Gambit found her. He helped her get back to Westchester.

Im 38 and just got back into them for the first time in over 10 years. I Ultimate X men caught my eye and it was like a graphic novel, but its actually a compliation of a series that I guess is running. I love it, its like they took some of the original charicters and brought them into the modern times and updated them a bit style wise. In the issue I have, Gambit is fighting with Hammerhead!

i cant say that... i started collecting comics when i was 6, and i used to love them a part of me still does. but comics died to me during the age of apocolypse. i hated the story line i thought it was foolish. thats when when the x-men died to me. and the day ben reilly took over for peter parker made me hate comics forever. then i heard about onslaught i htought it was the best idea in years. and they fuck up the ending by having all the greats die. i dont understand what went marvels head those years.
