Viacom. Ren & Stimpy is like O&A... their brilliance will AALLLWAYS bring them back. Someone will eventually pick them up. What's funny is, Ren & Stimpy has always been passed around between Viacom stations. They've been on MTV, Nickelodeon, and VH1. Last I heard though, they're gonna be on the new TNN coming this spring, with a rumored FOUR NEW EPISODES. Cross your fingers.

John K.'s original contract gave away the rights to Ren & Stimpy to Nickelodeon. From what I read a few years ago, John K. left because of creative differences. I did read about six months ago that Nick will make more R&S shows, but haven't heard anything since... <P>

John K was forced out when he wanted to go even weirder. Nickelodeon wanted to keep it as a children's show. <P>
But the show was always late and delayed when he was in charge. New episodes will be back but I wonder how successful they'll be now that the franchise has been ruined. <P>

That was from an interview with John K I read a few years ago. He sounded very frustrated.

He also said he had a develpoment deal with one of the cable networks (I forget which one). I guess nothing developed from that.
