i think Mooch got screwed. his teams win. he should have opened things up more, but as long as he wins who cares. plus i hate Walsh and was hoping Mariucci would stick it to him by winning a Superbowl.

I think he's already said he will sit out as a coach & do TV for a year...so he's got a little more than 365 days to convince his wife to leave San Fran, which is the only reason he isn't the coach of the Bucs right now.

He seems like a really likeable guy, which is why I'm glad he's out of SF, now I can go back to despising that franchise (except for the memory of Super Joe).

Too bad the Tuna already accepted the job in big D...he would have worked well with Terrel Owens, he seems to have a way with out-of-control-ego'ed assholes.
