Shinjo returns to the Mets

I personally liked Tsuyoshi Shinjo as a Met. His bat wasn't his strong point but he's solid in every position in the outfield. 3 years in the majors and he still can wear those orange wristbands. :)

Im pretty glad the Mets got him back. I hope he'll be a good addition to this team. (pre-season's almost here!)

i liked shinjo and it is cool he is back and all but what the fuck...
so get this the mets now have
Roger Cedeno(sp), Jermy Burnitz, timo perez, cliff floyd and now Shinjo.. and there is always Super Joe Mcwiewing(sp)who can play anywhere.. too many outfielders and we still need a 3rd basemen.. who is going bubbye is all i am wondering

it's good to have shinjo back with the neon wrist bands. he reminds my of the goofy chinaman in revenge of the nerds.

shinjo might not be the greatest talent, but he loves the game. he could be making millions more in japan, but much like ichiro, he wanted to be where the best competition is. at the very least, he's good to have in the clubhouse.

shinjo is a perfect fit for the mets b/c they will insert him late in the games if they have a lead for defensive purposes and get cedeno or burnitz out of there when the money is on the line
