I read an article the other day that said he was going to have an Expos cap.

It's not surprising that he had a change of heart since the same article said that the Expos organization didn't offer any congratulations or make any other overtures to him to go in as an Expo.

The Hall committe(I know that is spelled wrong) determins what hat the player will wear.. you can thank Dave Winfield who got 1 million bucks to work for the PAdres and with the deal he had to go into the hall as a Padre... I mean who doesn't equate Yankee great with David Winfield..

I was at Hall of Fame weekend that year(2001) that is when the Hall announced all the changes like making all the living members of the hall as Vet. members who vote along with the sports writers... Carter will probably be going in as an EXPO.

it is true that the hall selects the cap, but if it is going to make a player unhappy, they will not choose that team

he has a legitimate reason to go in on either team, and seeing as how the spo's havent even congratulated Carter, i think hell be going in as a met
