Don't miss the 75 year anniversary celebration of your favorite comedy team. On February 18, 2003 at 8 p.m., Comedy III Productions will present a very special one hour tribute to the kings of comedy - The Three Stooges. Emmy winner and Oscar nominee Woody Harrelson ("Cheers," "The People vs. Larry Flynt," and "Kingpin") will host NBC's "The Three Stooges' 75th Anniversary Special," a one-hour event which marks three-quarters of a century of entertainment from The Three Stooges - one of the world's wackiest and most-beloved comedy teams.

NBC presents this appreciation of The Three Stooges as new and old fans alike can again enjoy the most classic and knuckleheaded Stooge moments produced by Comedy III Productions and starring the six characters who ultimately embodied the trio through the years - Moe Howard, Larry Fine, Curly Howard, Shemp Howard, Joe Besser and Curly-Joe DeRita. The special will also feature celebrity appearances from Bridget Fonda, Michael Chiklis, Tracy Morgan, Cheryl Hines, Tom Arnold and Peter and Bobby Farrelly.

In addition to favorite routines, there will be ultra-rare shorts, feature-film clips, solo appearances and TV performances, with many of these scenes new to network television audiences. Stooge family members will share home movies, photos and treasured personal memories and there will be special "Stooge Factoids

Will they be releasing the "60 lost shorts"?
They are Shemp's and Besser's shorts from the 40's & 50's that Columbia hasn't released. Otherwise my entertainment center is filled with tapes & dvd's that I could watch for a year straight. I just turned my girlfriend on to them with dvd's (in spanish) so now I practice my espanol with Moe,Larry,Curly,Shemp,Curly Joe, and yes ...even Joe Besser...
Not to forget...Emil Sitka...

LEGALIZE SHEMP
