I know you're asking HK, but he's a busy man.

There is no doubt that there is life out there. Scientists have found evidence that the solar system isn't the end of the entire univers. There might just be a planet that is similar to our in plant life and geograpy and, hell, they might even look human!

I think that there really isn't any spooky race of aliens who want to take over, though. I think they are humanoids who are trying to figure out how to get deeper into the vast reaches of space, just like us.

If there is a God, i think that he had to have made more than just the nine planets that surround our sun.

We've already found life (microbes) on Mars and frozn seas (strongly suggesting life) on Europa. But by "aliens" I assume you mean intelligent life. (That rules out George W. Bush).

The universe, for all practical purpose is infinite. It would be the height of arrogance to imagine that man is the only intelligent species out there. Remember, in an infinite univerese, not only are all things possible, but they are a statistical certainty.

No, there are no aliens among us. The vast distances between the stars will probably rule out intersteller travel. Any contact w/aliens will occur with centuries passing between our sending and them recieving the conversation (or vica versa)

The light from the stars we see isn't "live" For most of the sky, the light is several billion years old. Makes you think....

yeah but we can only understand space and time based on the physics we know...who knows what other races have already learned and they could be 100x more advanced then us and could have started inhabiting and procreating on our planet 1000's of years ago...this is what makes me think..we can only understand what our scientists can figure out using current sciene...what about more advanced science we dont know of

If aliens were any smarter than us, they would have taken over by now.

But wait:

maybe they're not taking over because we're just like an observation experiment to them.

Just think: there are people on another planet staring at us through some high powered telescopes, laughing at our stupidity.

Future science is by definition speculative. Perhaps one day, FTL travel may be possible. Perhaps some species have already figured it out. Until there is evidence that the immutable laws of physics can be broken, we must stick with facts not speculation.

A sobering thought; (endorsed by pretty much all serious scientists in multiple disciplines). In all likelihood contact b/w two intelligent species competing for the same resources will most likely result in complete annihilation of one species or another.
