I would have tile, with little rug in front of the sink. Bathroom carpet must be the worst thing ever, that thing would be the dirtest thing ever.

When I was like 10 my dad thought it would be a good idea to carpet the bathroom.
Lets just say it didn't work out and was removed within weeks.

I like tile with little rug, but my mom has laid down carpet that they cut so that it can be lifted once a week or so to be thrown in the wash - not a large bathroom clearly. So it depends on you I guess.

I have bathroom carpet that can be removed and washed. The carpet is great because it keeps my feet from getting cold in the morning, and there's no danger of the rug slipping as sometimes happens with a little rug on a tile floor.

I wash the carpet as often as it needs it - not like I have a set day to wash it.
And, yes, it dries every day. It's all about having a well-ventilated bathroom, an exhaust fan, and a generally low-humidity atmosphere in my apartment.

Tile, real ceramic tile, not that vinyl garbage. And it's gotta be set by a real pro, an amateurish tile job is a sad sight
