True Romance: Dennis Hopper explaining "siceelians" to Christopher Walken

Man, "True Romance" is such an awesome shitty film. Overall, it bites, but it's got some great scenes. Outside of what Chris mentioned, I love how Gary Oldman steals the show as the fake Rasta, wannabe-black drug dealer.

"Clarence? Shit, that sounds like a nigga's name..."

I must disagree with you my friend. True Romance is probably one of the best movies that priemeired on the American Cinema in the last ten years. Why it has everythinbg a story needs; plot, action, romance, good music, etc... I think True Romance is one fine piece of writing and one fine movie at that.

And ironically I have to find link to site so there will be an edit, but they consider that Walken/Hopper scene one of the best acted scenes ever in a movie.

Rourke kicks the righteous shit out of Stallone, yet somehow Stallone takes Mickey down with one punch? Please. That movie pissed me off. Rourke, however, owned in it.

The Replacement Killers - most of the gunfights involving Chow Yun Fat and Mira Sorvino..movie blew otherwise.

Damn right. Awful film that looks great. The timing of the action in the opening scene to the sounds of Crysttal Method's "Keep Hope Alive" is glorious. And nothing beats the sight of Chow-Yun Fat unloading a pair of .45's into the windshield of a limo. Nice.

They Live is one of my favorite movies! I guess being a wrestling fan helped me like it a little more, but it was kind of ahead of it's time in making a statement about government controlling the masses through media and advertising. <P>

While a couple are having sex in the woods, Richard Gant
(that has the spirit of Jason) take one of the tent spikes pokes thru the girl just before she has the big O and splits her in half. That scene is only shown in the special edition.

In what might be the worst abortion ever caught on film, Anaconda, the scene where Eric Stoltz gets some kind of crazy Amazon death wasp lodged in his throat and is going to die. That is until John Voight stabs him in the throat, beneath where the wasp is lodged, and jams an empty bic pen tube into the hole, allowing him to breathe.

Anyone see Big Trouble? . It was actually pretty funny. Favorite scene is when the hitman drops the line[ It looks like we have a DIE HARD situation developing in the kitchen]

By the way. So friggin' on the money with THEY LIVE. I recently saw an episode of South Park where the scene is recreated by Timmy and Jimmy. Two handicapped kids. CRIPPLE FIGHT!
