I feel awful knowing that people not only watched this tripe but enjoyed it. How does shit like this get popular? Are we really the society of lost sheep? ( months until Monday Night Football again.

And yes, I am going to watch this Joe millionaire thing because there is nothing else on and I think the idea is good. Just too see how these gold diggers eyes open up at the sight and sound of money and will try and portray the fakeness of actually liking him is funny to me. Kind of like a study of society and seeing how greed can drive one to be a self-depricating piece of shit. I commend whoever actually falls in love anymore because they actually FEEL something in their heart instead of the other one's wallet.

I watched this show with the sound down, while I listened to Ron and Fez. I can only imagine how annoying it is with the sound up. The producers of this show are really prepping this guy to be the latest famous-for-no-damn-reason-jackass. I watched Access Hollywood earlier, and they had that guy cohosting the show. Then, after the show aired, FOX news was making a big deal about him. He has the fakest white-toothed grin I've ever seen. And, does every scene in the show have to include shots of the women with wine glasses in their hands? Very pretentious and irritating, and I can't wait to see next week's show.

but it gets worse...during the show, they had an ad for an upcoming show that made me wanna vomit. It didnt intrigue me, it made me sick. It's a game show where a bunch of guys and a bunch of girls whove never met, get together and are matched by the home viewing audience to get married that night on the show. A real wedding. A legal marriage. It's called Made By America, or something like that, on FOX of course.

The worst part is that I caught the end of Access Hollywood or one of those Hollywood trash-talk shows tonight. They had the ''Millionaire'' on and revealed *gasp!* that he posed for some underwear ads (He loved talking about that, mentioning how it wasn't a ''roll of Lifesavers'' in his pocket.). Even worse, at one point last summer, he was issued a summons for blowing through a toll plaza!

While I enjoy watching the show for the catfights, it pisses me off that this idiot is getting his 15 minutes of fame though the show.

Dan's right, the idea is OK, but the execution is off.

I'm betting that the "winner" will claim she can't trust the guy if he's going to "lie" to her, and try to make like she's a victim.

The right execution would be for the show producers and everyone to say this guy is wealthy, but for him not to. If he never says "I'm a millionaire", the girl can't complain about him being dishonest.

I'm not buying this crap for a second. They've already found out about the underwear ads and his trying out as a wrestler, the whole thing reeks of bullshit.

All the "construction worker" shots look staged as hell. He talks about "building things, and seeing them completed, blah blah", and then all they show is him pushing dirt and working a backhoe. Even his "co-worker" seemed like he was reading a script. They showed him unpacking his clothes when he got to France, pulling out torn jeans and flannel shirts. My ass! He's 28 and only making 19K? I've worked construction and snot-nosed part-time high school guys make at least that much.

My guess is that this is going to eventually blow up in Fox's face and they'll find out that he was some unknown model/actor they hired and made up all this 19K earning, poor, sweet & innocent construction worker horse shit!
