the movie is brilliant. Rourke is awesome and so is Dunaway.

Barfly is a great movie (despite of Rourke!!) but then again the movie is based on the book by Charles Bukowski and he was a fucking genius.

An excentric, drunkard, mailmain turned poet genius.

My yourger brother introduced me to his work and I think there are few writers that can compare to him.

Bukowski is a god. I read some of his poetry aloudin class once. didn't go over well with the females. But barfly was an awesome movie and underrated and under appreciated
