I thought Signs was a great movie, precisely because it was so indirect and muted. I mean, I didn't want to see another alien invasion movie - it was much better as a story about this guy and his family. So, I thought it was an asset that it had a very slow pace with a quick wrap up mentioned in passing. <P>
he'll never do a better film than unbreakable in my opinion. <P>
Oh, I agree with that totally! Unbreakable was awesome. And, the best part of the entire movie was Samuel Jackson's last line - ''They called me Mr. Glass.'' That one line summed up his entire character - and it was the finest bit of acting by Mr. Jackson I've seen in ages. <P>

i enjoyed the movie but would never buy it...

i actually jumped a bit when they wre pulling the TV into the room, towards the end and you saw the aliens reflection...
don't believe I jumped since the scene in Jaws, when the head rolls out the hole in the boat...

Signs was a very flawed film. That comic strip really said it all. I'm very suprised M.Night Shallayman didn't realize some of the illogical elements of the story prior to filming it.

Not for nothing, but if you would use IRC, then you can get these movies way before they are on dvd. I'm not talking about a bad copy with weird subtitles.
