Anyone remember the Choose Your Own Adventure series of books? You choose what you wanted to do next and then go to the page that has the continuation based on your choices. Boy a game in books!! I guess thats what happend when you didnt have an Atari.
And reading the books page by page really hurt your head.

Oh, I used to love those books! Hell, any book that tells you that you're dead is a good book!
Of course, I always felt sad that I never got to read ALL of the story, since I invariably didn't choose a few plotlines and didn't have the patience to start over again...

I used to read those all the time. Those and the Encyclopedia Brown books. I was quite the sleuth and adventurer.

i liked how if you made the right choices, your story would end in about two pages.

i was embarassed by its honesty
I was just talking about these things with Mojo. Those were the best. I also loved the "Lone Wolf" books.

These were great, once had a pack that had four books in it and i think some how related to each other. I think I still might have one laying around here somewhere.

I used to love them but my mom hated them. She knew I only end up having to read like 25 pages of a 200 page book.
