"Oz" is back on...for the last time.

Well, the last season of "Oz" begins tomorrow (Jan. 5) night on HBO. Then on Tuesday the 7th, the second season DVD set comes out. Then a couple weeks after that, the companion book will be coming out. "Oz" may be going out, but it's going large!

The reviews for this season so far are stellar. Entertainment Weekly gave the first few episodes an "A-", and supposedly the stories involving O'Reilly, Schillinger and Beecher are fantastic. And yes, Hill is still the narrator, even after last season's finale...

i watched it last night and I had mixed feelings no they have one guy that is possesed by a demon a little to far out there for me. the sickest scene was when one of schilingers(sp) bitchs was giving him head he finshes and spits what looks like love juice out and has some lest on his chin and check he telss him to wipe your mouth bitch that was sick and very gay but i will still watch it

that scene was nasty.

I'm a big OZ fan, but i was a little disappointed with yesterdays episode. There just seemed to be to much recapping. I know the show hasn't been on in a while, but as a follower I wanted the stories to move forward. They spent only a few minutes on most storylines and then bounced on to the next one. I understand they did it to refresh viewers on what the stories are, but after waiting so long for a new episode i wanted more. i guess theres always next weeks episode.

I thought that last nights OZ delivered as compared to other HBO shows that haven't in the past year. Anyway, the "dribble" was great as well as the possession thing. I hope this season does continue on this pace because it should be pretty good. The only thing I am really gonna miss is the O & A recap the next day. Things like that always make the show fun.

They've used it since the start, so it's some kind of lingo for "bitch" or "fish"...whether it's "real" or just on "Oz", I don't know...I think only the Nazis say it, so maybe it's a white power thing...

Prag is just the term they use on Oz i think. But it is not limited to only the Aryans. I remember the mexicans calling beecher a prag in the first season, and they referred to jefferson keanes gay brother as a prag also

i think the fact that we didn't see Beecher actually get paroled means that he will probably find out who killed his dad, and will either make an attempt on Schillinger or will kill the prag...this will keep Beecher behind bars.
