Most Horrifying:

The John Doe (Kevin Spacey) victim that was emaciated to skin and bones. This person was kept alive medically (for over a year) in order to fulfill complete and utter hell.

Cruel Intentions:

The attack on Officer Alex J. Murphy (Peter Weller) in the beginning of Robocop.

When Frank Cotton solved the Lamont Configuration which summoned the Cenobites. They ripped the flesh off his body with dozens of razor sharp hooks.

Lastly, whatever medieval acts that happened to Zed after Butch left that basement....

The Se7en scene was pretty cruel and certainly unusual...I liked the nice touch with the hanging car deodorize trees.

The nun rape in Bad Lieutenant.
The Russian Roulette game in The Deer Hunter.
Toothpick Vic beating Alabama in True Romance.

I'd have to say I thought the ear scene in Reservoir Dogs and every scene in American Psycho funny, however.

Hannibal Lechter using a guard's face to escape in "Silence of the Lambs"

Ned Beatty's "squeal like pig" scene in "Deliverance"

The Sisters gang-raping of Andy Dufresne in "Shawshank Redemption"

Seeing Rosie O'Donnell in leather in "Exit to Eden"

the hanging scene at the end of dancer in the dark

I think making David Morse sing in the scene where he eventually gets shot is the cruelest part of that flick.

...silent, but violent.

The making and releasing of Glitter was an inhuman act of film and crime against humanity.

"Johnny Got His Gun" 1971
The movie was an adaptation from the book of the same title.

A young American soldier (Joe Bonham) in World War I is wounded by a landmine. He looses his arms, legs and eyes as well as his ability to hear, speak or smell. Lying in hospital he is not able to distinguish if he is awake or if he is dreaming.

***** Metallica's song "One" (And Justice for All) was based on this story.

o yes, thats called curbing,

I saw this done in real life too to a kid in a wheelchair. But there was not much damage b/c they used the handicapped part of the curb.

There is a new movie out soon called About Schmidt. The most inhuman act is fat ass Kathy Bates being buck naked getting into a hot tub.

What an absolute brutal movie that is. The "curbing" scene makes me cringe every time.

Oh, and much love to Steels for actually using the proper name of the Lamont Configuration!
