View Full Version : Your Favorite Soup?
There is nothing better on a cold day than a nice cup of hot soup. Mine is onion made with fresh onions..never the powdered mixed kind. French onion is good too with the cheese on it and the bread. What's yours?

ANY kins of Seafood Bisque or New England Clam Chowder. Those are by far the best.
Waiter: Show-dair
Freddy Quimby: (mocking) "Show-dair?" "Show-dair?"It's "chowdah." Say it right.
Waiter: Show-der.

Corn chowder and wonton soup are yummy too.
I'm sure I will be in the minority here, but I really dig borscht.

Depends on my mood. . .
My roommate makes a kickass chicken-matzoh-ball soup, which I like very much.
I also go for tomato soup, usually the reconstituted kind, with a little oregano or hot paprika in it for a little kick.
But, I think my most favorite is Vegetable Beef Barley soup. Yummmy-yummy!

To my mind, there is nothing better on a day like today than the combo of Campbell's Tomato soup and a grilled cheese sandwich. But the best soup I've ever had is the lobster bisque at Smith and Wollensky.
