Shows today like friends and, will and grace dont compare to the shows like cheers, 3's company and alot of the shows from the 70's ad 80's. The content in todays sows are not as funny. The only thing ood about todays sitcoms is the eye candy such as jennifer aniston

I agree with the sentiment despite the misspellings.
By the way, has anyone noticed that there is still a turkey up there on the top right-hand side of the page? It looks delicious and it's making me hungry.

What's Happenin'?
awesome show. i liked when the doobie brothers played at their high school, and after they were caught trying to tape the concert, they met the band. "which doobie you be?"

the turkey is funny, but i am young so i never got to see any of these retro tv shows, although i have spent more than half my life in front of the TV (i am not exagerating) Some of the new sitcoms are good like Life with Bonnie and Less than Perfect. Those are under rated shows.

My all time favorites have to be Leave It To Beaver and Cheers. Both of them just makes me laugh and never cease to entertain me. I NEVER get tired of them. The Munsters are a favorite for me too and it just ruined it for me when their movies were done in COLOR! I have become quite the fan recently of The Bob Newhart Show, Mary Tyler Moore (TED KNIGHT!) and The Dick Van Dyke Show. TV Land is really polluting the old mind recently. I am also wanting to see Newhart which I got in a lengthy conversation about the other week when in the last episode apparently Bob woke up in his old sitcom and apparently the whole Vermont thing was a dream?!? Crazy shit!

For me it's the following, in no real order...
Seinfeld
Cheers
The Adams Family
Odd Couple (the white version)
M*A*S*H (with Trapper, Spearchuker, and Henry Blake)
Larry Sanders
