Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers
More than likely Too Cute could reviewed this movie better than I it been a long time since I even read the books, but I will try. The TTT (The Two Towers)contiune where the fellowship of the ring left. Also giving answers to questions, which occurred in the previous movie; like what happened to Ganfalf after fighting the fire demon near the end of FoR and did Aragorn, Legolas, and Gimili find Merry and Pippin. The squeal to the Fellowship of the Rings, continues the epic in The two towers; the characters Frodo and Sam continue their mission to destroy the Ring at Mordor. While the dark powers of Sauron and the corrupt white wizard- Saruman; continue their plans to dominate middle earth. This leads to multiple battles which put Braveheart to the back burner when comes to the fights in the film. The battles are at multiple places that are named in the movie including Isengard and Rohan. The scenes are at the heart of the movie, which leads to a turn point that be shown in the third movie coming out next year. One of the most interesting characters in the movie Gollum, the movie really show the emotion it has for the ring and how he grew an emotion attachment to Frodo.
For a movie that is almost over three hours, this epic carries JRR. Tolkien is the best book to movie production in a long time whether science fiction/fantasy or other type of fiction. The movie is great, the beautiful backgrounds, acting, costumes, fight scenes just as the previous movie. What I loved about the movie was the huge battle scenes. Throughout the movie the fights and battle scenes were big and done in a way, which would make anyone love to see again and again. The Two Towers have proven to be a successful squeal to the Fellowship of the rings and hopefully the third film will carry the visual beauty of the other two films. I recommend this movie with out a doubt. This is a must see film but if time is not on your side or not really interest in this kind of film then check out Star Trek: Nemesis, Catch me if you can, or Gangs of New York.
Out of a rating of 5 stars, The Two Towers gets 5 out of 5
Next: Gangs of New York, and Catch me if you can
