the economy is pissing me off!

i work in a retail-comission
sales enviroment. and my
salary usually like doubles
this time of year. no such
luck in 2002 :-( cheap mo
fo's. what bothers me is that
i know that nationally and
state wide salaries are about
the same... and unemployment
is up, but the 3% that its up
should effect sales this much.

i mean does 3% of the
population represent the
40-50% sales reduction at our
store this year? i dont think
so. people are hording cash.
