The worst xmas bonus ever!!!!!!

I've been extremly anger for the last two days because of my christmas or so my job calls it. Now I work for a major non-profit organization but the head honcho makes 6 figures a year. But anyway, i was surprised when my boss says heres your xmas bonus...A fuckin $10 fift card to old navy!
What the fuck were they thinking, i would have been better if they gave me nothing and now im so insulted and so pissed that i feel like telling them to shove it up their ass...but i wont be i need the cash. anyway i thought i share this with you guys.

Dude, I have two jobs(Child Care and Webmaster for a CT State University), I am very good at both of them. For the Child Care job my christmas bonus was a candle holder, obtained for 2.99 at a local pharmacy, I gave the people who work for me in that same job fifty each.

My Christmas bonus from the other job was a pink slip courtesy of Govenor Rowlands CT State Worker Job cuts. A 10 dollar gift card ain't all that bad.

My last job gave me a $700 bonus two and a half months after the holidays. It took them that long to decide if they should give one or not. Seven hundred dosn't sound bad until you factor in that I and everyone else had worked 7 days a week for two and a half months to meet a dead line. My record was 97 hrs in one week, but you only get paid for forty because your on salary. <P>

I got to leave work at noon on Christmas Eve.

One year, ten years ago, I got a $100 savings bond for not calling out sick all year. The catch-- it took 10 years for it to mature!

I'm at the VERY bottom rung of "management" so I am part of the "Employee Incentive Program." I have to write reports, show percentages, explain why my books fell above/below my estimates for a suck-ass "bonus" that gets taxed at 48%.

I shouldn't complain. At least I HAVE a job!
