What did you do Today and Yesterday

What did you do for Christmas and Christmas Eve. Which do you think is better?

Last night I went to my neighbor's house for Christmas Eve and it was pretty fun. I'd say Christmas Eve is better than Christmas (besides getting gifts) because it's more of a social event. Today I went to my aunt's house in NJ, and as soon as I arived at 12:15 it started snowing. I eventually had to leave because the snow was getting too heavy, so I left at 4:00.

family and friends. Today I
just sat back with my family,
opened gifts, and ate a nice
dinner. All in all I had a

Last night I went to Devin's parent's apartment on the Upper West Side for their annual Christmas Eve party. We had a Chinese Auction, which is a lot of fun. They had homemade egg nog, sushi, pigs in the blanket, shrimp, and all of these other goodies. Devin and I exchanged presents. He bought me three of my favorite movies, a teddy bear, and a tank top that has the the Virgin Mary on it with the words "Immaculate Conception." Devin knows how appropriate THAT is for me. He told me he ordered something that I will get in a week and is making me something special using his creative talents (he's a singer, so I think it is going to be a musical tape or something of that sort!). I made him a rock star Devin D. Dawg build a bear, with leather jacket and a specially made T-shirt with the name of his band on it (Little Bill & The Beckley's). I also got him leather gloves and "The Mists of Avalon," a book of Arthurian adventure. We both are into that Medieval folklore! He kissed me goodbye in the snow, and I took the train home at 1 am.

Today my family and I went over my relative's house for a big dinner. My cousins and I all baked a different dessert (sugar cookies over here). I had a wonderful holiday! I hope everyone else had a great time too! I'm going to make my parents watch "Death to Smoochy" now!

i spent christmas eve at my grandparents'. that was nice because it's been a few years since i had christmas with them. christmas morning i went to my other grandmothers, then went to my mom's and opened a ton of gifts, ate a ton of food, and drank a bottle of champagne. xmas night was spent with my sweetie

To my Dad's Christmas Eve for lots of food and my little sister's special eggnog- she adds Kalua and about a bottle of Amaretto. Christmas Day we opened presents at home with my kids and my husband made his special breakfast. He was supposed to report in to work at 4 am to plow snow(he works for the Mt Kisco highway Dept), but his boss let him go in late so he could do presents with the kids- we got the call day before Christmas Eve that my husband's reserve unit is being activated and they are supposed to be leaving at the end of January for up to a year- so he felt bad. Then I took the kids to my mother in law's, we lost power and told stories by candlight. The hill got too slick so the kids and I had to walk home in the storm with a big old camping lantern to see. Then they played with their toys til by candlight til bedtime. <P>

Christmas Eve: went out with a bunch of friends for dinner and then got hammered at the bar.
Christmas Day: opened presents, enjoyed the company of realatives ate a fine meal, drank with the family and played in the snow.
