I got the Back To The Future trilogy DVD at BJ's Wholesale. It's pretty cool.
On the second dvd they talk about the hoverboard that Marty uses and refer to them that they are real. They even have a cool hoverboard test shoot of various scenes and they do appear to be real. I remember hearing at one point that they're fake. Just curious if anyone knows the real truth about these things. Robert Zemeckis one of the producers of the film said they're real, and that parents groups have kept them off the market.

Back to the Future is my all-time favorite movie and I got 2 (2 ponderous!!!) sets of the box set on DVD, but have not watched either. My dad bought me one after my sister had already ordered one online. Now I must return my dad's and wait for my sister's, which has yet to arrive.

Oh yeah, hoverboards are real and the moon is really made out of green cheese.

And to answer your six year old question Reef, the hoverboards were not real.
I wanted to order this soooo bad when I was a kid... Anyone else remember this?

I had that 7 foot tall monster. He was cool. Glowed in the dark as well.

I remember that!! I wanted it. What was it called? I want to find out if they actually worked.

I think it was called the Air Car... All you need was a household vacuum.. My mom didn't like the idea of an 8 year old performing amatuer electrical work with her only vacuum. :furious:

The Air Car was at the top left hand corner of the ad you posted. That was another toy.

Well done ANC!
A quick google search turns up nothing. Just all about real space craft.
I'll have to dig deeper when I have time.
