just got a betta (siamese fighting fish) and i know what to feed my new pal, bruce lee, but i don't know the amount of food to give him. yes, i've scoured the internet. can anyone advise?

thanks can, you're right, they are so cool. this betta flys (well, swims real fast) across the tank to me when i go there. (did yours do that? i doubt i picked the "dolphin brained beta")
so of course i keep feeding him for his efforts.

they have food specifically for beta fish..

it's called beta food or somethig liek that..tthye are teeny tiny pellats loking things and you give them like only a few..about 10...

My mom got me one of those crazy fish for my sweet 16. That damn fish was insane! Seriously, I had it the same tank with some other fish. The dude form the pet store said it would be ok for all the fish to be together. Well the demon ate my other fishies! I was so scared the fish is gonna come after me. But my dad left it outside and it eventually died from heat stroke of something. I was happy to know that thing is dead. They are kinda pretty fish though. Just keep them away from other fish, and make sure if you have them near other fish that they have a top on, because my friend had two next to each other in 2 bowls and one fish jumped into the other's bowl and they killed eachother.

This has been another rare post by the (greatly missed) Sweet one!
