Just read that WWE is really trying to sign Goldberg before Wrestlemania, apparently they want to have him wrestle in either the main event or some big match(depending on when he signs).
They are also hoping to have Nash at 100% to have him wrestle one of his former "buddies", most likely HHH or Shawn Michaels.
Hogan is whining to McMahon that hew ants to be involved in the Mania...yea everyone wants to see him wrestle after his 1-800-Collect commercials brother!
Be prepared to see the Angle-Lesnar feud for a long time,at least until April.

None of that sounds too spectacular to me. I hope to god Hogan doesn't come back again and i don't see what the WWE will do with Goldberg and Nash who are both RAW material, they'll both likely fall to HHH. I'd kill for Angle to hold the belt intill WrestleMania then Angle vs. Benoit in an ironman match and Benoit become WWE CHAMPION!

I have heard some rumors that there is going to be a Rock Goldberg match. Also i heard its going to be hogan vs rock at wrestlemania again. this time the rock being the heel.
I think the rock is going to turn heel after hearing so many rocky sucks chants at summerslam

metalsatan, his mic skills have dramatically improved since his days in WCW, even more so than Lance Storm.

He deserves the WWE World Title more than anyone now.

They improved from what? He sucked in WCW and now every word in every promo is scripted, and even if you think hes better, he doesnt have enuff skill to be champ! angle on the other hand is currently their best mic guy

Screw his mic skills, he could be the angry quiet type. I love the angry aspect of him and Eddie Guerrero. I also don't see Eddie getting the belt in the next 2 years.

If someone comes out to do a promo he could just give them 10 germans, I'd rather see that than a bunch of talking. And if it's not destined for Benoit to become Champion then stop teasing us. He main-events SmackDown! every week and they can't even put him in the title picture? Thats bullshit. They could hide it, remember when Austin or Rock used to show up in the arena 5 minutes before the match? Well Benoit could do that every once in a while or they could just take a chance and give him the belt and see what becomes of it.

The most senseable thing is a big star in the WWE now facing someone coming back. Brock vs. Austin? Brock vs. Goldberg? HBK vs. Kevin Nash? Something under those rules?

Anyone know when Rock is coming back? I thought I heard RhYno and Kevin Nash are coming back in the Royal Rumble, that would seem about the right time for both of them. Although in October WWE was saying that RhYno would be back early December.

Oh well, back to Wrestlemania. I see lots of talk in this thread about Benoit. He is superb, and I honestly think he is a great man of short words speaker. Unfortuantly I doubt they will give him a push, a couple title shots on SD! and thats about it for him. He is still at intercontinental level even though the belt is gone, which is a big mistake. Same with the hardcore belt.

Anyone know when Rock is coming back? I thought I heard RhYno and Kevin Nash are coming back in the Royal Rumble, that would seem about the right time for both of them.
Jim Ross said Austin and The Rock will be back in early 2003. I think Rhyno should be back for the Rumble and I'm not sure how Nash's rehab is going. I have a feeling he won't be ready.

Kanyon is also coming back soon. Who better than Kanyon?

I haven't read the Ross Report in months, but has he been commenting of Austin? Are we really gonna let this cocksucker back in. As a wrestling fan (and not an Austin Hater) I'm offended that Vince would let Steve back in the WWE just to sell tickets.

I want Austin back. He's been an asshole thats for sure, but he's done so much for WWE he deserves another chance.

He's on probation and J.R. said he's trying to get his personal life back in order.

Rock and Austin need to comeback, they are the only two people in the company that can handle Triple H's politics. Without them there Triple H owns Raw.

I think it's more of him beating his wife that is getting people pissed. It was also very unprofessional to just not show up for work no matter what they had planned for him he still should have showed up and talked to Vince.

HMMM, he stunnered his wife and he walked out on people that payed their money to go see him. The only way I'd ever think about forgiving him is if he comes to RAW and makes a public appology as Steve Williams and Not Steve Austin.

I have my mixed feelings about the Rock though. I used to be the BIGGEST Rock fan in the world. But he can't keep walking out and only wrestle 4 out of 12 months and keep blabbering that the WWE is his home. I laughed my ass when HHH said the only reason the Rock is making movies is because he can't beat me.

Brock will win chance for wwe title at Da Rumble. Vince might just give Hulk the belt before wrestlemania, cause he keeps bitching about jobbing for so many matches give him the belt to help his ego but lose to brock at wrestlemania. Maybe see Trips vs. michaels vs. Rock. for raw title and Austin will lose at wrestlemania probally against Taker Vince needs to punish Stone Cold. Would be nice to See Goldberg interfere or maybe Hitman but Vince might not need to pay these guys with so many guys coming back from injures and such. See Ya <P>

If there were people I wouldn't like to see at WrestleMania competing for the titles, it would be trips, the Rock, Goldberg, HBK and anyone else who doesn't deserve another push, they had they're chance and I think it's time to move into a new direction with talents like Benoit, Angle, Jericho, Batista, Randy Orton, Rhyno, and other talents that have been screwed over way to long, the WWE should look to start relying on it's newer talents and other talents that have been left back <P>
