Calling all Yankee fans...

Do you care if "The Rocket" Roger Clemen stays in the pinstripes and gets his 300th win or do you think of him as like I heard on the 'FAN, a "mercenary that went where the money took him?"

Would you keep him or do you want him to go back to your hated rival, the Boston Red Sox? Also, do you consider him a true Yankee or just a cat that went where the big offer was?

Furthermore, do you want him, when not if, he gets inducted into the Hall of Fame in Cooperstown in NY Yankee regalia or Boston beanwear?

I don't want Roger back on the Red Sox. Let him go to Texas and die.

We need Colon god dammit!

It seems like Texas is the only place other than NY that he would go...and I hope he does. I didn't want him, but I understood the trade. I didn't like him, but once he got his act together in NY, how could you bitch about the way he performed? I don't want him driving up the mean age of this pitching staff again this year, and taking weeks off at a time for his always-one-athletic-move-from-being-pulled groin muscles.

But, I think George wants nothing more than to have him win #300 in pinstripes, which would guarantee another Yankee in the Hall. I think this is one of those situations where George will not listen to his baseball people, and Roger will be the opening day starter.

...silent, but violent.

Great post question.

I say keep him in pinstripes and let him get his 300th win as a Yankee. I still see him as a Red Sock but he'd most likely go into the Hall as a Yank.

But then again, would love to see him as a Met too.

I'd take Clemens back in Boston. I'm all for improving the pitching staff.

Boston won't go after Colon -- that would make sense. Instead they'll go after a right-handed DH.

Chairman, do you mean that in jest or are you being genuinely serious?

As a Met fan, it would be the same as having Johnny Rocker in the orange and black.

Sox and Yankees are/were going after him but the Expos want to dump other shit into the deal and neither team is biting.
