A League of their Own: Chick Movie???

Everyone is welcome to post, but I would prefer to hear from guys on this one. Is A League of their Own a chick movie? I think Tom Hanks is hysterical, but there are some "I am woman hear me roar" scenes. My vote says no.

It clearly falls into the category of "chick flick". Nonetheless it manages to be pretty entertaining, despite the hokey chick flick/pop history/feminist sentiments throughout.

any movie where girls gather round and sing a song..twice...is a chick movie. But, mixing it with baseball, hanks and lovitz, makes this movie palatable.

Take heart, brother blakjeezis, I too get a little misty towards the end of the movie. Especially when they look at the picture of Jimmy & his HR stat, and you realize he didn't make it to the reunion. It don't make us bad people.
