My company got bought out today by a huge California based company. They have already said that there will be layoffs. I am not at the top of my company but I wonder should I worry or wait and see?

you can do both...you really have no choice, but to wait and see and if you think its possible i would worry also. you would have more of an idea if its possible than any of us would.

I work for a Government Contactor doing telecommunications troubleshooting.

Also know one in my department is not sure at this point who is going they just said there would be layoff's nothing more. I would like to think that I have an important job.
