I'll say sorry for this post in advance, but i need to vent.

I'm not sure if anyone outside of this pathetic piss hole of a state has heard about this, but out govenor has decided, in his infinite wisdom that the best way to balanance the budget he fucked up is to lay off 3,000 state workers, one of whom just happened to be ME!

Not only that, but because I attend school at the same university I previously worked at I had a super user account to log on to the network. Now, because I no longer work for the school, instead of simply changing the status of the account, THEY DELETED IT, which leaves a good deal of my research for my finals up in the air, as it's no longer under my folder on the server, which was deleted as well.

This is IT! I'm going back to NYC for good now.
