A while ago, a couple of years at least, I heard about a skinny pill in Italy. What it was was actually a capsule with tapeworm eggs in it. You would swallow the worm and it would do it's tapeworm thing and then when you hit your target weight they would take it out. Sounds silly doesn't it? At least until you think that in other parts of the world people actually have a majority of their stomach closed off so the remainder is the size of a golfball.
