Dave Grohl Appreciation

Well, not necesarily appreciation, but love him or hate him you have to give him credit. He is one of, if not the most prolific artists of the past decade, from Nirvana to Foo Fighters, to Queens of the Stone Age. I can't think of anyone else who's been on the charts with three different bands, and with the release of Nirvana's 'lost classic' all at the same time. Impressive to say the least.

dave grohl is without a doubt to me one of the best drummers to come around in the past 20 years..he deserves all the respect he gets, its awesome how u can go from behind the drums of a band as huge as nirvana, and to become a front man and keep that band going for the past 6 or 7 years and be as huge as they are. thats some amazing shit

i LOVE Dave Grohl.. i just want to meet him and play video games in my living room with him. He just has such a cool persona and just seems like a fun guy to go hang out with.

I personally like it when MTV or MTV2 plays "You Know You're Right" "No One Knows" and "All my Life"

Eh. He's OK. He's a dopey prick when I've seen him on TV, but he's a good musician on whatever instrument he picks up. But I'm not a big fan of Mirvana, Foo Fighter, or that Queers of the whatever.

I just like that he played drums on Tenacious D.

Good musician, Good band..hes a...hooker?
Hes very talented and seems like a cool guy. You have to give him respect for all the things hes done. I love the new song "all my life", its kickass.

Just the drums? Oh no, my friend, much like the first Foo Fighters album, he basically played ALL the instruments. And as for drummers, I think he's pretty great, but nobody touches Jimmy Chamberlain. He's a beast.
